Starting from FAXmaker version 12, build 20050524, FAXmaker supports the Brooktrout TR1034 models with the built-in network card for fax over IP solutions (FOIP).

Instructions on how to configure Brooktrout FOIP with FAXmaker

1. Configure GFI FAXmaker to use Brooktrout fax over IP by using the Brooktrout TR1034 drivers.
2. After installing the Brooktrout TR1034 drivers:
   1. add the Brooktrout lines from the GFI FAXmaker configuration -> Lines/Devices
   2. click the Add button to add more lines.
   3. from the properties of one Brooktrout line, change to the Device tab, and select the option “Enable Fax over IP for all Brooktrout lines.”
   4. You also need to enter the FOIP router host name/IP address in the same window as shown below:

Notes:

1. The TR1034 T1 & E1 cards require that the "wait for dialtone" option is unchecked and the "rings to answer" option is set to 1.
2. Multiple TR1034 cards in one machine are supported.
3. Older TR1034 models that are non-RoHS compliant are also supported.
